It's not better compilers

......bravo.......but of course, we already have cop-outs from the usual suspects ...............Intel probably only meant to cook the benchmark to juice up the Bay Trail release but they proved too cute by half when the latest version of the compiler was applied to Clover Trail+....making AnTuTu stand out like a sore thumb and leading to exposure of the "FIX"

The correct response would have been that Intel got caught doing something incredibly stupid. There was/is no need to have done it. The person in Intel authorizing this should be fired immediately. Clovertrail+ is what it is and will sell not based on cooked benchmarks but on razor thin if not negative margins until a much improved Bay Trail debuts. Now Intel has managed to ALREADY put doubt in peoples mind about Bay Trail. What idiots. Bay Trail should not need any cooked benchmarks to move to a leadership position.
