you wondered if what we think of as certain emotions or feelings are really programmed

yes, I'm trying to question, think, explore a subject/idea that is universally accepted (what I meant by status quo) and almost "sacrilegious" to question.

Why?

Because it's universally accepted
because of the extent to which we've been lied to and misdirected
because it's used against us to aid in our enslavement

When you say the words love and hate, everyone knows what those feelings are. Their existence can't be disputed but what exactly they are is another matter altogether.

I don't THINK more animal examples will help as I'm certainly fully aware of actions universally accepted as affection.

I'm not drawing any conclusions as to what emotions are or I couldn't even examine this.

The rulers of this place do not teach their children altruistic feelings and behavior. Sure, we can divide the species into two camps of "normal" and psychotic but again I question if that explanation is all there is.

I could go on and be even more unclear but that should suffice for one post. ;)
