Another home just went up for sale down the street...It is a 3100Sq Ft and the asking is 500K even.Has a view of Mt Hood which is beautiful but the house is not as nice as ours..At least I do not think so..They have a big fall off back yard I think their Deck might be on big stilts...Anyway the home sin my neighborhood are selling very fast..Two to three weeks after being put on the market..The one that was for 500K a few weeks ago sold in 3 weeks for 487K..but some are getting over asking price...I would not know how a person could pay off a house loan if he had a 400 K balance..Maybe people make more than I did when I was young and just buying my first house..In my present house, I paid down 50% in hard earned cash and still had a big monthly payment for a few years until I just got mad and paid it off...
