I know you are too busy to be overly concerned about I-Hub posts, but as an investor I would appreciate if you could clear up a few things. I am long on this stock and a believer in our company and am excited about our future.
Question 1
Some have pointed out that the date on the report in yesterday's press release is from October of last year. Why did we wait so long to release these results?
A: The date represents the date that the research study commenced. The news released was based on the results of the study.
Question 2
There is an individual posting as if he is an expert in Pharmaceutical testing. He is stating that the absorption rate is low. As one that is not an expert, can you explain to me in layman's terms what the results truly tell us and whether this absorption rate is what the pharmaceutical industry is looking for?
A: Yes, the amount of active that went through the epidermis may seem small, but that is related to the small amount of active applied to the section of skin in the study. Data from these research studies show that with little requirement for optimization, the technology can provide for the transdermal delivery of drugs at clinically relevant doses for the treatment of a wide variety of ailments and diseases. So what does that mean? If you extrapolate the amount that was applied to the amount that was found in the receptor fluid, you can apply what would be a therapeutic dose with a roll-on application and the amount required for delivery would transverse the epidermis.
In our opinion, this data represents a first, is significant and is extremely positive.
