I have seen many mistakes in public documents. The CFRs are full of them. EPA has so many mistakes in some calculation formulas that they published a sheet of corrections. Unsuspecting persons using the formulas get some weird answers.

Word processors using "boiler plate" material are the ultimate generators of errors. If one page in a file gets out, the error remains. Files get corrected, but is every copy corrected?
