It is quite the experience. I usually don't pay close attention to color, but note the color of this one. Hope the carbon is still there. It dissipates in bottle after a time but I find the visually imperceptible bubbles make the wine perfect. This is a DELICIOUS wine, especially for the money.
Ever have a Chateau d'Ychem? It's a Sauterne, sweet but very hardy. You cannot die without having a good one at some point. For a special occasion buy a half bottle of a good year. You can look those up easily enough.
