An interesting side note on Restatis.

As you know, cyclosporine is an immunosuppresive agent that was originally used in some of the early chemotherapeutic protocols. It was found that in some of the patients suffering with KCS along with their cancer ailments, that their tear production returned and they did not have to take their artificial tears as they previously had to. More research verified that cyclosporine actually increased tear production. I have not researched the facts of this personally but believe them to be true.

It would be an incedible thing if Vascepa has a similar effect and is side effect free. It would also be nice to orally take a medication that increased tear production instead of dropping those pesky drops in one's eyes multiple times daily. Let's hope you are the first of many guinea pigs to have a similar result.
