Responses are just my understanding, others may feel free to correct me:

How unique is the technology and the machine that produces the product?
The LQMT alloy composition and production is proprietary / patented. Other BMG alloys have been developed both theoretically and in actual production, but to date the LQMT formulations (known as Vitreloy) appear to be superior in the field. The machines that LQMT are using are manufactured by Engel and the process pertaining to forming LQMT parts is proprietary (developed by Engel and Dr. Stevick of LQMT) and so Engel is not permitted to provide that technology to any parties not permitted by LQMT.

Could they just sell the machines?
See above.

Do we know of the companies that the prototypes were sent to?
No, unfortunately. Just about all information pertaining to potential customers or parts orders is protected by non-disclosure agreements (at the request of LQMT). There was even a Confidential Treatment Order granted to LQMT by the SEC last August. Wish we knew what it was in regards to?

Why don't they make the partnership with apple a bigger deal? (It is hard to find on the new website).
That is up to Apple, not LQMT. But browse this board for the last 6 months in regards to Apple patents, or go directly to the USPTO website, and you will see that Apple is actively considering our product.

My responses are simply presenting information that other posters on this board discovered through their own due diligence. I didn't find any of it on my own. If you are truly interested in learning about LQMT, I would suggest reviewing past postings on the board. There are a lot of smart people here. You will begin to see the personalities involved and can filter out the ones that do not suit your own outlook. Good luck,

Keith
