FWIW, I get very bearish when I see a company like OOIL, that was so deeply focused on Algae take their eye off the ball and PR a totally new market target

I had hoped that their previous focus on algae would have led them toward more lucrative markets than they had addressed.

What they have done is practical, since their machine seems to serve at least a part of the purpose of the new market without any significant modification, and the market is potentially more lucrative than the refining of nutraceuticals and vegetable oils from algae, which is my personal focus.

The success of fracking has basically guaranteed the failure of crude oils from algae, unless the government prevents another American attempt to become energy self-sufficient. At this point, I can't really envision the government as an ally. They seem to get in the way of everything.

As far as GE and Halliburton. Who knows? Origin is still waiting on certain patent approvals. I don't know how significant they are to this device and process.
