I'm guessing the problem with the movie is most likely a 50% ownership issue. Brown wants the biggest payday he can get and isn't terribly concerned with NVEI. I don't know who has the clout to make that call. At any rate, I can't imagine them letting this summer go by, and to make this summer they have to cut a deal next month.
Like you, I'm not counting the money from the funding until it's in the bank. But I do play the odds a bit. My daddy was a "bookie." The odds of closing the deal are a lot better when the papers have been signed. When NVEI gets a check, I don't know if they will tell us right away. There will be a ten to twenty cent jump very quickly as the news leaks out. I have chosen to get some more before the bump. I don't want to be left behind.
The odds are pretty good that both deals will happen next month. The odds are very, very good that at least one of the two will hit. It seems prudent to play those odds. So I bought some more.
