Bbanbob -- the math works out that if the RS ratio is larger than your total holdings (per account) you end up with a fractional share -- and thus are liquidated.

Example: a 1:1000 RS -- anybody holding less than 1000 shares doesn't get a single share in the new company.

NOW -- that said, it is my personal belief that the RS scenario isn't likely -- just possible -- so this is a theoretical discussion.

Just my opinion on that.
