Orphan drug status and expanding indications.

If BMSN's stem cell treatment ends up getting approved don't be surprised to see its indications get expanded. Orphan drug status is a smart path to take as it speeds up the approval status and primes it for other uses. A big pharma would be very interested in such a drug and pathway as it could save hundreds of millions of dollars in trial costs.
