No their shares are reduced by the factor of the reverse. Hence 10 for 1 your 10 shares factored will be worth 1. As an example if you owned 10,000 you would own 1,000 after a reverse of 10 to 1.
Of course this is merely speculation derived from my experience. But, in my experience when a company does a reverse split AFTER a heavily diluted period of time and before a significant track record of having revenues and profit. They are going to dilute again. It is for financing reasons.
Please take note that AAPL did NOT take an equity stake in LQMT. THEY BOUGHT RIGHTS TO THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FOR INFINITY.
