I believe Otelinni referred to Intel's interest in tablets and smartphones as an accretion to Intel's revenue growth. So whatever Intel's market share turns out to be in the tablet market I am sure it will be profitable for them or else they won't be in it. Funny but I have no interest in tablets and I don't think everyone does. As a matter of fact I think the tablet market is overworked and I don't believe that tablet market will replace the computer market. Looking at Apple's last quarter Apple sold iPads down to make the market's Christmas unit projection which they apparently didn't make. Ipads started the tablet craze originally selling for in excess of $600 average units but now with cheap tablets the market is not so lucrative especially that both Amazon and Google are reputed to be selling theirs at cost.

I am waiting for the Haswell hybrid form factor and if an Intel smartphone arrives I will most likely move up for no reason but just to keep Verizon from harassing me about my outdated cellphone!
