Hopefully the Intel-based tablets will fetch more. In our household the most recent notebooks cost $600 to $800. The iPad cost about $600. I plan to buy an x-86 windows tablet later this year, and would not mind paying $600. That would replace a notebook that I handed down to a related high schooler. Hopefully the replacement will be a Bay Trail tablet.
