Thanks for your links showing that Intel did show a reference design in Jan 2012, promising a launch alongside Windows 8. However Clovertrail tablet launch ran into snags, because the Intel software driver had a bug and tablet would not power down correctly.



Speaking of which, I remember back in 2010 that Intel was supposed to be hiring a lot of software experts.

Seems like once every three months I hear about Intel having problems with drivers or whatever. Is this now a thing of the past?
