The company recorded double-digit growth in Greater China, Africa and the Middle East during the year…lifted by new products such as the Milo malt drink with added fiber and a ready-to-eat version of its Golden Morn breakfast cereal.
Nestle derives ~40% of sales from emerging markets and is a solid play on TGDT, but I like MDLZ better because it is even more strongly focused on emerging markets. Moreover, Nestle does not have sponsored ADR shares.
