gw, what you posted makes logical sense and frankly is the same position I took for a long time. On the surface, it really doesn't make sense that these guys would continuously get themselves deeper and deeper in a hole (go back and read some of my older posts). I said the exact same thing. The problem is, as I've posted here multiple times recently, if they are truly working on a heater and this is not a scam, their actions don't support that theory either. Go back to the questions I asked a few days ago which you still haven't answered, for example, why can't the company just simply tell us what piece of equipment is needed to resume testing? Or at least tell us where they're at in the process of procuring this piece of equipment. If there's difficulty in getting this equipment due to leadtime, availability, cost, etc. you would think they could update us. Surely after 2 months since the test was "abruptly" halted, they would have some idea what is needed and when they would be able to procure it. I can tell you they even consulted with Beer who recommended some stuff but to my knowledge the communication ended there and went no further.
So again, looking at both sides of the coin, it makes very little sense either way and the way I see it now, that's very disturbing. Why shouldn't it make sense if they were on the up and up? What do they have to hide to make this thing such a mystery? The very fact that nothing makes sense is troubling.
