Class actions are a waste of time, unless you are lucky enough to work for the factories that do this stuff. It's all geared to maximizing fee/amount of time spent by the firm.

Look at the pleadings. Most are boilerplate. Very few get involved unless they can get it into the "cookie cutter" approach.

They settle when they reach the maximum number for the fraction I put in my first paragraph above.

Net result is penny/share or so for shareholder and nice 6-7 figure fees for the class action sharks.

Better to work with CEO and convince him that being shareholder friendly means cutting o/s and float, as opposed to the reverse.
