Having been there for others, when your loved one is dying and involved in a clinical trial all you are concerned about is whether your loved one is getting better, will have the opportunity to live a little bit longer (to enjoy a birthday, a wedding, the birth of a grandchild) . . . the furthest thing from your mind is calling your broker to invest in the drug company . . . at least that was my experience.
