Contrary to what appears on the surface, I believe it was SRGE who dropped Kinross. Why? Well, you scrap a deal when you don't want or need that deal. Deals are scrapped for two reasons: 1) It's a bad deal 2) We have a better deal. I believe SRGE are not concerned about losing the Kinross deal because of reason #2--a better deal came along. This supports the Company's PR of 12/28 wherein it's stated "several parties" contacted (again initiated) Southridge.
