Minutia is blown out of proportion.
I know, I'm posting to you but hoping someone else will read.
Every judge has the responsibility to discover the law as each case presents itself.
That is:
Law is tested in the courts.
Checks and Balances is the relationship of Three Branches of American Government.
Executive (da President) must execute the Law, veto and other military/nomination/etc. .(very simple explanation)
The Congress/Senate make the Law.
The Judicial must interpret law into consistent application.
Law is not perfect.
Words are not perfect.
Humans are not perfect.
There is no perfection implied to the volumes of law compiled in 235+ years of American History.
That being said, I'd like to smoke after a meal in a restaurant.
A cigar and a brandy would be really great.
Even a cigarette would do.
Unfortunately, shooting all those tyrants who restrict my rights would land me on death row.
Damn! I hope those gun advocates who are there to protect me from Government tyranny don't blast the non-smokers!
