I'd say a weapon to protect oneself, one's loved ones and one's property has MUCH more practicality than any of those technological toys things you mention in the later. And far more ancient.

The use of any "tool" is determinant on the intent and character of the handler.

And the mind is a fragile vessel for those bent on using it for destructive purposes to control the "hive mind".


That includes the application of "disinformation" by the way of which fellows on both sides of the political spectrum are sucking up as if it were honey-sweetened water.


One day, may mankind ALL grow far beyond the need to "control" anyone.

It's clear that time has not come.
