That said, they are the poster child for the lesson that "A trial 'going long' is a completely unreliable indicator of success.".



Another unreliable indicator - connecting the dots on obscure pieces of info and overweighting it relative to preponderance of historical data.

The only other question is what alpha did they assign to the interim. Now that it is a failed trial we may never know.



When results are published I'm also interested in seeing if there are details of how they handled the halt, modified ITT, as well as establishing futility boundary.
