RR: I doubt SRS would be able to charge anything upfront. It's trying to promote it's SRS WOW system and is apparently happy to have e.Digital use it. I'm rather certain that they'll have to settle for whatever royalties they get from e.Digital.

Like you, I also don't know anyone who owns an MP3 player, including my teenage nieces still buy CDs of their favs and use their portable CD players.

However it is a growing market, but as undercapitalized as e.Digital is, it will not be able to be a big player in the industry IMO.
