agree 100%. In addition to IDCC's efforts to cut costs, the Ericsson suit against Samsung should be a clear sounding bell to anyone that a Samsung renewal is not going to be easy for IDCC, unless IDCC can somehow strike a deal with Samsung that involves the sale of patents.

Agree. I believe that IDCC sees this as the preferred path for the benefit of shareholders. I believe as far as licensing goes, the industry is going to litigate with IDCC to the very end.

The continued industry pressure on the value of SEP licensing has been a big factor stalling IDCC's licensing efforts IMO.
