Thanks, WW. With a gimbal, all you need is a throttle replacement/equivalent if the present motor is internal combustion. The equivalent throttle component on a brushless DC electric motor is an ESC or electronic speed controller. George could easily switch that over IMO so if I have the order of magnitude right on the HP needed, this motor could do it. So you were right that the components are out there COTS.
