I much prefer the prospect of merging -- once we create them, we as we are are no longer the top/most advanced life-form here, not close -- make it one of their first tasks to finish completely figuring out our brains, on an individual DNA basis if/to the extent necessary, how to rejuvenate/regenerate them and keep them healthy and intact, accumulated knowledge, experiences and memories unaltered, indefinitely (and also how to swap in and perfectly connect artificial sensors that are as good as or better than our natural ones for all senses, for those full new [bio-]robotic body rebuilds) -- then connect my brain, alive and intact, with one of them; add one of them to me -- etc. -- . . .


If we create them so they are waterproof then maybe they could help us figure out how to make some of our places
on earth - water-proof and heat resistant .. an of course ice resistant also.

................I'm serious. .. ;) good God, now that I'm thinking about it ... maybe they could protect the entire planet?
