Why is that a positive?

Monetizing the Lovenox royalty stream is not a positive for MNTA per se, but it would almost surely boost the share price (which is the subject of #msg-81767374, the post you replied to).

Many investors and analysts are ascribing minuscule value, if any, to MNTA’s Lovenox franchise; hence, if MNTA can ink a deal to receive almost $200M for this asset, it would force investors and analysts to raise the bottom-line number in their valuations models. Moreover, such a deal would leave MNTA with a cash balance of $500-600M, surely enough to eliminate any concerns about MNTA’s liquidity for several years.
