Tom, first, thank you for posting the FFGO Short Sales data. But with all due respect, medchal is right. OTC Markets does stop showing Short Sales once it reaches 0 and will not show anything again until there is something to show.
Here is the bi-monthly data for SRG*, a very active OTC Pink company:
This is a great example since it shows that even a single unsettled short share gets posted twice per month and will continue to be shown until either the number increases or goes to 0. But once it reaches 0, weeks & even months can go by without any data, as long as there is none to report.
Here is a portion of the above screen shot. Notice that on Jul 15, 2011, the Short Interest was 0 but two weeks later, it was 179,553. Two weeks after that, it was 0 again and remained that way until Feb 15, 2012, when there was finally new Short Interest to report.
Feel free to check with any OTC company on the OTC Markets site and you will see similar results. I myself have checked dozens. There is no hiding of data...no conspiracy. It's just how they do it. FINRA may repeatedly post "0" bi-monthly Short Interest when it exists in their raw data, but OTC Markets doesn't.
