marshell/Mark - I think it is a VERY credible question & have experienced the SAME frustration in trying to get some feedback on the status of those applications. I have 2 phone calls & several email msgs. to Grace Li inquiring as to the status. However, I may be "asking the wrong person".....not sure Grace will/can respond to our questions. I recently switched brokerage accounts.....within a day of sending in new application, I had phone calls, letters (more than I care to have received)....and "terrific" communication Welcoming me to Fidelity. I've sent DIRECT communication to Koffman and have NEVER rec'd as much as even an acknowledgement of my letter....NOT good business. Certainly the world does not stop rotating on this issue.....but, it does speak to the "quality" of partners HRCT may be dealing with.....then again, this is my first China bound application -- and -- maybe their processes and customer service is different than what I (or Fidelity) think it should be. EZ
