Reading some of the Bailes report on damages it appears they took a conservative approach in their estimate, looking at residential subscribers only. One statement stands out:

"It is also unclear what magnitude of derivative service revenues and convoyed sales of other products, services, and subscriptions T-Mobile achieved as a result of the infringement."

If the damage estimate does not include any of the above (and it appears it does not) then the estimates must go much higher. Little wonder that T-mobile doesn't want to hand over their documents. It's not because they have any proprietary secrets to hide but rather they don't want our lawyers to see the depth of their infringement.
