jd-- glad to hear your auto insur went down. For years NJ has been known to pay very high rates-- not far behind Mass. The other thing NJ is known for is rediculous property taxes. Unlikely that will change. Nearly everything in OH has gone up with no end in sight. The only thing I see going down is wages as mfg jobs are replaced by those at McDonalds and truck stops. It is unlikely interst rates will move which will not help the retired that count on that for living expenses or those hoping for a retirement-- oh, yeah,, looks like the mkts will continue going down as there is no reason for the trend to change. I think we should be concerned for the financial future of our children & grandchildren unless we are going to be able to see they inherit enough.
