My auto insurance in NJ went down $1,000 per year due to more competition arising from reduction in state regulation. My offices health care insurance even with better prescription plan also went down by switching from Horizon Blue to Aetna by $200 per month.

My daughter picked out a very nice shirt at Macy's marked down from $30 that I paid $4.24 after all the discounts.


Not everything goes down, not even my faith in US consumer and its economic system.
