Most of those comments you posted point to that fact. Not trying to give you a hard time, but check your naivete at the door, and read between the lines.

Do you really think the entire Dept of Defense is going to buy new XP machines NOW with 1.2? Then not be able to upgrade (according to Berlind)? Ain't happening, my friend. Full volume encryption is something they'll want to be part and parcel of the deal.
