CLB addendum: It does not ring true, IMO, that the severely lowered guidance is attributable to only the decreased rig count, as today’s PR implies. More likely, IMO, is that CLB is seeing increased competition in the Production Enhancement business segment that was responsible for 40% of overall revenue in 2Q12.

I’ll bet Charlie agrees.
