I understand the economic benefits to the private sector that get dramatically ramped up during wartime, but the ancillary costs to the country are enormous.

I understand the need for a strong military, I get that-
But, to use it in a fabricated endeavor mired inside a fictional environment that "YOU" created just because you hold the reins of power, is unconscionable.

Truth be told, Romney scares the living bejesus out of me.
