A lie should very definitely not be deleted imho - it should remain on the poster's record, just as should a truth or a flawed bit of reasoning or a spark of brilliance ... a permanent record combined with a strictly enforced policy of one login per individual will encourage attempts at truth .... the replies to lies will adequately balance the equation - people love to catch others, it's part of the game ... remove the lies and you remove the fun of catching liars.
