I disagree. A basher can ruin a board with one headline statement that honest posters know is a lie but may have to wait for a quarterly to prove wrong. The board becomes ruined and the decent readers leave. No readers, no posts, no activity, the basher wins. If you have a forum where you have board chairman, they should have the right to weed out the troublemakers. Maybe a rule would be possible where the chair corrects the fraudulent post and refers to a copy of it below. I agree with an earlier poster who said he has the right to see what the chair was deleting and make his own decision. So, maybe the outright lie can be removed and the reason given by the chair with a copy of the lie included. I don't know the perfect solution, but it would be nice to have a place to chat about your company without the bashing and lies. People are leaving RB by the thousands just because of the trouble. Its not fun.
