The first is that I haven't been following the posts of either one, so it would be inappropriate for me to make such a request. There are plenty of others who could.

You don't need to "follow" anything to report a TOU violation. Break the rules & you get TOS'd.

The second is that booting them contravenes the idea of turning the other cheek. (I need to avoid being a "sanctimonious prig" here. Left to my own devices, I'd probably box their ears.

Yes, I have noticed that you are turning into quite the sanctimonious prig and have been meaning to talk to you about that...lol...boxing their ears is good; reporting a TOU violation & deleting their posts is better.
