These guys have to be nuts! I'd give 1000 to 1 odds that Intel won't reach $37 in the next two years.

We expect AMD's server share gains to slow in the second half of 2005. So? "To slow" isn't enough. Every bit of gain and even what progress has been made so far hurts Intel big time. AMD is now a creditable opponent and Intel server margins are cut every time a customer utters the word "Opteron". There are no more easy high-margin sales to smart customers.

The only thing that could bring Intel to $37 in the foreseeable future is an explosion at Dresden.
