- Creating more private sector jobs in 3 years than his predecessor did in 8. (Not an accomplishment--very LOW growth in jobs after massive deficit spending where population growth alone generates minimal job
- Passing the stimulus which stopped a free fall of our economy and helped saved jobs Almost universally accepted as WAY TOO EXPENSIVE given the results and passed as "shovel ready" (lie). NOT an accomplishment
- the Auto bailout where close to 1 million + jobs were saved even though this was passed by BUSH $25 Billion loss to taxpayers and illegal upending of business law by giving equity to unions at the expense of bondholders
- eliminating pre-existing conditionsROFLMAO-- why not say completing 105 rounds of golf?
- 6 million + 25 and under children covered on their parents health insuranceObamacare. Slammed through by bribing Senators and Comgressman--Pelosi says we have to pass the Bill to find out what;s in it. Polls say voters do not like the bill. ONE facet of a bill does not an accomplishment make
- Donut hole closed for seniorsSee Above
- 85% of insurance premiums must now be used to pay for claims - reducing the rate on increasing in health insurance and slowing it's growthAccomplishment to infringe on private enterprise? Hmmm....
- taking military troops out of Iraq YAY. There is one!
- stopping wasteful spending on Medicare Advantage in which medical procedures where paid at an 18% premium over what Medicare would spend for the same services saving medicare close to $50 Billion per year and slowing the growth of Medicare and extending it's life by at least 8 years.Totally untrue. Medicare is going broke even with Obamacare
- reducing payments to inefficient hospitals and paying less to pharma in medicare and also beefing up fraud policing saving additional 10's of billions per year.Wow, so desperate to list accomplishments that you are using line items in One bill. Going after Medicare Fraud is an ongoing goal that never quite gets done well, by both parties. Hospitals will go out of business--reducing healthcare access in that area. The Law of Unintended Consequences prevails.
- being able to do this with zero support from RepublicansAh...compromise is defined by Democrats as doing what they want done. How about Reid presentingg a budget to the Senate so the Republicans can at least see what a budgetary proposal from the Democratic side would look like.
