Well, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, though I doubt there'd be a mass exodus to Linux. It's still a little too "hands on" for the typical user and OpenOffice, LibreOffice, etc. generally suck (sad to say) compared to MS Office in terms of usability, functionality, and compatibility.
