However, I agree with you here, most religions are full of fanatics.

I disagree with this statement. Maybe it could depend on how you define "fanatics". Are Snake Handlers, that call themselves Chrstians, fanatics or harmless loons (except to themselves). An idividual Christian fanatic may kill an abortion provider. Does that make Christians that oppose abortion, fanatics?

There are Mormon sects that practice poligamy and child weddings Does that make The Church Of Later Day Saints fanatics?

Do Christian opponents of abortion or Morman sect supporters of poligamy ever blow themselves up in Malls or set bombs in school busses?

Do 10s of thousands of Christians or Mormons ever riot in the streets trampling their own to death in support of acts of human carnage? All Muslims are not fanatics, but support for Muslim fanatics is wide spread enough to label Islam "full of fanatics.

I don't like it when I see Christanity lumped in with fanatics. Members of the Left do that frequently. There is absolutly no moral equivalent to the fanatics within Christianity and Islam. Appels to watermelons.

I'm not religious. I haven't been inside a church since 1980. But American was founded based on Christian principles. Christianity is part of my American Heritage. Although I'm not sure there is a God, I have no trouble with saying God Bless America!
