That in no way is a "prep for dismissal".

It is a standard answer to civil charges.

Like it or not. The SEC has filed a serious case against this company and they will have to spend money defending it. There is no indication whatsoever that the SEC has been "mistaken" or that CCTC will be dropped from the case.

As to the outcome, we will have to see. But I don't think the SEC typically files cases that it intends to lose.
