Come to think of it, there are *symbols* and sometimes even *patterns* in option chains so maybe they do know what to look for. Options are also created out of thin air and often times expire worthless so I'm sure they feel right at home.

On a serious note, I wish I had bought some OTM puts on KCG but no one saw this coming so if you did it was a pure gamble; kind of like buying any pink sheet trash.
