I have asked repeatedly of several posters, Elk in particular, what constitutes significant quantities.
50 a week, 100 a week, 500 a week, more than that?
What number of sales on a weekly, or any basis for that matter would be an indiction of "significant quantities"?
I would be pleased to see them get above a hundred a week at this point in time. They have six installation centers and eight remote vehicles that we know about. 100 units a week works out to only 6-7 units per week per installation center/vehicle. That should certainly be possible. Even at a profit of $100 per unit, that would translate into $130,000 revenue (net) per quarter.
The installation centers I can understand not doing that many, they have other uses. However, the remote installation vehicles have one job and one job only, why get eight of them if they are not using them?
Just to toss out an idea. Could it be that they are installing on fleets with the intention of letting the companies test the DV out for a specified period of time and at the end of the period, they can either buy them or SaviCorp will take them back. Along with stating installs, Serge has stated that the fleets are testing and that they are getting excellent feedback. That would lead me to believe that if they are doing something along those lines, that we could start seeing revenue from the installs they have done once the testing periods are over along with contracts to install on more of the fleet vehicles. Like I said, this is just an idea, nothing more.
