I know enough about the SEC to know that once CDEX was spun off, the boys should have been fair game and actually, should have been fair game regardless. If the PR's were false, the there was intential fraud in their financial reporting, unregistered stock being sold, on and on.

There have been statements made on the boards of the fraud the boys commited. Many here and on other boards laid out pretty good examples. No, I dont think the SEC laid off because of CDEX, although I could see that as some sort of settlement offer, but even that has not appeared. Just does not make sense to me unless they just could not prove fraud which is curious at best.

I have seen the SEC go after the little guys and do it quickly and harshly. I have seen them nail people for not what they said in a PR but what they didnt say that the SEC considered material that a company did not think materal. Fines were handed out and posted on the SEC site.
