Yes, this is a history with which I am very familiar.
I have great confidence in Glenn and Tony or you wouldn't be hearing from me.
However, IMHO, a brand is more than a single good product-that is tactical. The name WSGI promises world-class surveillance capabilities--it is the brand promise.
Personally, I am on the team to build a great company and a great brand that fulfills that promise. And that is how I think shareholders should behave--as team members. It doesn't mean we don't ask HARD questions--that is part of great teamwork (see Lencioni).
But I still feel there is a trap in reacting to BIB sales--or lack thereof. I know there has been a long drought--but there is more potential here than just one good product. I have a friend that carries helium tanks on camels in southern Jordon to do aerial photography. As a team we need to think about branding and capabilities and not just sales. JMHO Don't get me wrong-- I will drink a class of champagne with you over a contract!
