The huge company I work for lost over 50% of its share price a few years back - that includes my 401K. Such is life. 5 years later and still contributing a significant amount each month, I am barely back up TO Where I was 5 years ago (BARELY)...They don't owe me ANYTHING! NADA! ZILCH. There is no promise of riches in any stock.

BAC CRASHED BIG TIME A FEW YEARS AGO.....Many lost a lot of money....I didn't...I stepped in and bought it at 4.85 or close to that....Sold it not too much later for over $17...Why ddn't I keep it? I had a bad feeling the the Administration wasn't done with the banks yet! TImberrrrrrrr again...I was out thankfully.
